Delete your Crew Smart account

Crew Smart is made by Yaw Works LLC.

You can delete your Crew Smart account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both remove the same things.

In the app, which is immediate

Open Settings from the icon in the top right of any tab, scroll to Account, and choose Delete my account. The app asks you to confirm and spells out what goes. Deletion happens straight away; you do not have to wait for us.

By email, if you no longer have the app installed

Write to privacy@crewsmart.org from the email address on the account, or tell us the handle you used, and we will delete it. We aim to complete this within 30 days and will confirm by reply when it is done. You do not need to reinstall the app.

What deletion removes

Your account and sign-in
Your schedule, trips, reserve days and any hotel we worked out for you
Your taste profile and saved places
Your crew profile, your handle, your phone number if you added one, and your profile photo
Your dating profile, your dating photos, and every like and match
Your posts and your replies, including replies you left under other people's posts
Your messages, and any friendship or match conversation you were part of
Your reviews, Must Try votes and any discount you reported
Your crew ID badge photo, if one was still awaiting verification
Any schedule link you shared with family, which stops working immediately

One thing we keep. If someone reported you, or you reported someone, that report stays. A report is another person's account of being harmed, and deleting your account should not be a way to erase it. We keep these to handle safety complaints and to defend or bring legal claims, which is permitted under GDPR Article 17(3). A report holds the reported content and the accounts involved, and nothing else about you.

Things that are not deletion

Signing out is not deletion. If your account was never linked to Apple or Google, signing out does erase it, because nothing else identifies it, and the app warns you before that happens. If your account is linked, signing out leaves everything in place so you can sign back in.
